FDA CORE outbreak investigation #1365 (Closed; outbreak ended): Salmonella Newport & Kentucky; product: Moringa Powder 10 cases; 3 hospitalized; 0 deaths; states: AZ, FL, IA, IL, IN, TN, VA, WA; recall initiated (see advisory); FDA traceback, inspection, sampling initiated; recalling firms: Ambrosia Brands, LLC Outbreak Investigation of Extensively Drug-Resistant Salmonella: Moringa Powder (February 2026) The FDA and CDC, in collaboration with state and local partners, investigated illnesses in a multistate outbreak of Salmonella Newport and Salmonella Kentucky infections linked to Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules distributed by Ambrosia Brands, LLC. Based on epidemiological information collected by CDC, a total of 10 people infected with the outbreak strains of Salmonella have been reported from 8 states. Illnesses started on dates ranging from September 26, 2025, to January 8, 2026. Of the 8 people interviewed, 7 (88%) reported eating Rosabella-brand moringa powder capsules. T
